Twelve Easy Little PiecesFor Flute with Piano Accompaniment
Since the death of the composer Istvan Szelenyi (1904-1972) his works have become increasingly well-known all over the world. Kodaly's one-time student, later behind a rich oeuvre in which almost all musical genres can be found, from oratorios to songs, from symphonies to instrumental chamber music. HIs music educational works published by Editio Musica Budapest and other prestigius western European publishers are particularly popular,. They include works for youth orchestra as well as easy pieces for violin and piano solo and duet for beginners.
In the present volume ongoing flutists are offered new material to play, a small bumch of works selected and arranged for flute from "24 Easy Little Concert Pieces" written for violin with piano accompaniment in 1957. (The piano accompaniment can be played either by the teacher or a higher grade student.)
