Three Preludes and Fugue (BWV848, BWV849, BWV860) from "The Well-tempered Clavier" for composed by J.S. Bach
Edited by Friedrich von Huene for Flute and Piano
Includes score and parts

Johann Sebasian Bach's "Well-Tempered Clavier" has been admired by many generation.  For the keyboard player, most pieces demand unusually high musicality and, in their origianl form, are for flutists impossible.  The similarity of many preludes to movements from Bach's solo or Triosnatas gave the idea for these arrangements.  Bach and his contemporaries often reworked their compositions to make them fit other combinations of instruments.  Some passages naturally had to be changed (mostly through octave transpositions) and, when necessary, the appropriate chords were added for the right hand of the harpsichord.
