Finale from String Quartet Op76 #4 by Franz Joseph HaydnArranged for 2 C Flutes, Alto Flute and Bass Flute by J. W. DownsIncludes score and parts; includes an optional 3rd C Flute part to be used in place of alto fluteOriginally in the key of Bb
This was taken from the Haydn String Quartet, Op76 #4, and was originally written in the key of Bb. The fourth movement, finale, allegro ma non troppo has been transposed to the key of D to put it in a more desirable range for flutes.
The quartet has been arranged so that it may be played with four standard C flutes with the third and fourth parts transposed for alto flutes. ANy combinations of flutes can be utilized. Ideally, the fourth part should be played on a bass flute, if one is available. The score is presented in concert pitch.
