Laudamus te from 'Gloria' composed by Antonio Vivaldi (1678-1741)
Arranged by Robert K. Webb for two Flutes and Piano or Organ
Includes score and parts
Key of F-major

"The purpose of this arrangement of the well known Vivaldi Laudamus te was to make available more music for two flutes that would be particularly suitable for performances at church services.  Although there is the designation of first and second flute, both parts are of equal importance in keeping with the true sense of duet music.  As the players will quickly ascertain, the solo line moves gracefully from part to part.  Each player should sense when the music indicates that it is his turn to lead or to be secondary, and make the appropriate adjustment in his performance role. Whether this duet is performed in a church, school, music contest, or just for friends, it should be played with the spirit of joy." -Robert Webb
