Uccellino Chuiso (The Caged Bird) composed by Christolph Graupner (1683 - 1760)
Arranged for Flute Choir: C flute or Piccolo solo, 2 C flutes, Alto flute, Bass flute

Graupner was a German composer and harpsichordist in the time of the high Baroque music, and lived in the time of (and worked with) JS Bach, Handel and Telemann.  During his lifetime, only a small portion of his compositions were published.  This piece is from a manuscript titled Overture a 2 Corni di Selva (2 hunting horns), and is cataloged as Overture in G GWV466.  Most likely composed between 1732-34, the soloists trills and flutters over the simple flute choir accompaniment.
