Offset finger buttons on keys reduce the s-t-r-e-t-c-h required for small hands to play the standard tone hole spacing of the modern Boehm flute. Much like those seen on alto flutes. The D# key is on the body section, eliminating the need for a footjoint. Trill keys are also eliminated, reducing overall weight to 12 ounces - 20% less than a standard model flute with curved headjoint.
