Ordering From Flute World
You may place your orders either by the online shopping system (Web site), fax, mail or by phone. Website shopping is available 24 hours a day! If you are looking for something and are unable to locate it on our website, please call us at (248) 855-0410 or email us at flutes@fluteworld.com. Please specify composer, title, instrumentation, and catalog (or publisher's edition) number, if possible. For special orders, please give as much of the above information as you can. A source of information (i.e. where you heard about it) is often helpful (record, concert, state contest list, reference book).

Flute World Return Policy
Returns are not accepted without prior authorization. A return permission request must specify invoice number and reason for return. All merchandise must be returned undamaged and prepaid. Returns may incur a restocking charge of 10% to 25%. Credits will be issued against future orders or exact replacements only. Music supplied in error (our mistakes in filling or duplicating) are returnable. Please fill in the return slip completely to avoid restocking charges. Defective music (printing errors) will be exchanged for replacement upon return of the original shipment. If UPS or another carrier has damaged your shipment, please save all wrappings and contact your local carrier. YOU must file a claim with your local carrier, not Flute World. Please DO NOT send the damaged package back to us, since the claim must be made by you, the receiver. Please complete all requests for exchange or return within 10 days of the invoice date. Please note: Instruments are only available on a 7-day trial basis, and cannot be returned after the 7-day period for any reason. Please call the Instrument Department at 866-35-FLUTE for further details on the Trial policies.
Payments
We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER, American Express, Money Orders and personal checks. C.O.D. shipments are also available for sheet music, accessories and CD orders, but not for instrument orders. (Please note that C.O.D. shipments are allowed only in the United States and cost an additional $10). Search Criteria - If you are browsing within any of the categories the search boxes have been setup just to search that particular category. For example, if you are browsing within the accessories section and you use the search box; it will only search the accessory products. Spelling counts! Make sure you are spelling the word correctly. If you are unsure whether it is spelled correctly try type a portion of the word that you know is correct. For example, if you enter "Andersen" rather than "Anderson" you will not find what you are looking for.
Instruments - May be searched by brand, model, product code and description Sheet music - May be searched for by composer's name, product code, title, publisher or grade. Recording - May be searched by performer, composer, product code and title. (When searching by Composers, please note that they are listed in the following way: Lastname,Firstname). Accessories - May be searched by name and product code.
Purchasing Sheet Music, Recorded Music, and Accessories Online - Purchasing sheet music, recorded music, and accessories has never been easier! Simply shop at your leisure and add whatever items you would like to purchase to the virtual shopping basket. When you are ready to make your purchase, simply click the Checkout button and we'll walk you through shipping, applicable sales tax, and the rest of the information needed to complete your order. Pricing - We believe in keeping our prices as low as possible, but consistent with high quality service. We promise each customer a fair price corresponding to the manufacturer's or publisher's price. However, due to conditions beyond our control (publishers' increases, foreign price fluctuations, etc.), we cannot guarantee the stability of the prices in this catalog. Prices are subject to change without notice. We cannot be responsible for notification of price changes prior to shipment, although current prices will be supplied upon request on an individual basis. Because there are Internet pricing restrictions set forth by many manufacturers, some discount prices cannot be listed online or in our printed catalog. It is advisable to call us to verify our best prices at (866) 353-5883.
Availability (Backorders) - We will automatically backorder any item not currently in stock unless directed otherwise. We will try to obtain these items in a reasonable length of time. The length of time it takes a backorder to come in varies according to seasonal conditions at the publishers, items indefinitely out-of-print, foreign imports, or music which must be handled by an exclusive distributor. Such situations are beyond our control, and we will attempt to notify you if such a delay occurs or is foreseen. Please notify us of any time restriction, or request whatever restrictions you find necessary. All backorders will be charged shipping.
Shipping Orders & Requests - We are at your service to obtain the items you want. We have no extra charges for this, as long as the item is published or manufactured by our regular suppliers. We also are ready to assist schools and teachers by stocking required items or reserving stock as necessary. Please contact us as soon as possible to enable us to obtain such items in the required quantities. We also will be glad to stock required selections for state and local contests and competitions upon request.
