The Mahle's daughter, Cecilia, born in 1958, suffered from a craneopharingeoma. She started to go blind at an early age and died in 1973 at the age of fifteen. Between the ages of two and eight she produced more than 1400 melodies, which her father wrote down and later used in arrangements for piano, guitar, violin, viola, cello, bass, flute, recorder, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, trumpet, horn, trombone, tuba and harp. Every melody is different in each of the publications for the above instruments.
