A Flutee Celebration by Ricky LombardoFor Flute QuartetIncludes score and partsDuration: 5:30A Flutee Celebration portrays the life cycle of the ensemble Flutee in a brief manner using three movements. You may want to experiment using various members of the flute family since the different instruments will change the sound of the composition. It is possible to perform this quartet using no C Flutes at all, providing the other instruments are available. This makes for a very unique sound.
1. Creation: This movement portrays the organization and creation of Flutee. It is quite short.2. Moods and Styles: Movement two intends to show a couple of the many moods that have been performed by Flutee from a beautiful melodic waltz to something more contemporary and funky.3. Jubilation: This starts with a brief majestic four measures stating that the ensemble has come a long way from the time of creation. The rest of the movement is very lively and moves along at an allegro tempo or even faster. This is very melodic and happy. Musically it is building to a climatic ending.
