Next Day Air Cautionary Note: Upgrading to Next Day Air does not always mean you will get your order the next day! Once shipped, Next Day Air packages are guaranteed by the shipping company to arrive the next business day (except in extreme weather conditions or national emergencies). Please note, however, that upgrading the method of shipment to Next Day or 2nd Day Air does not change how long it takes us to assemble and ship your order; it only reduces the travel time after your order leaves our store. We will make every effort to comply with your requests.
Additional Shipping Notes: Please check your order for accuracy and completeness before submitting your order! It is very important that you provide the complete and accurate shipping address for your package at the time you place your order to assure prompt delivery. This includes, but is not limited to, apartment and suite numbers, university/college names, dorm names/student housing names, etc).
Most of our ground packages are shipped via USPS. Bearing this in mind, please provide an address that your package can be delivered to. If you know that a particular courier will not ship to the address you are providing, please include a note when submitting your order. We have no way of knowing that, for example, the USPS will not deliver to a particular street address, unless we are notified by the customer. Shipping couriers charge a fee of up to $15.00 to change any shipping address once your package has left Flute World. In order to keep shipping costs down for all of our customers, any address correction fee incurred by Flute World (as a result of an incomplete or inaccurate address information provided by the customer) will be charged to that customer.
International Shipments & Customs: International shipping is available via USPS, UPS and FedEx. International customers are responsible for paying all customs and duties fees charged for their packages by their local customs office. These fees are NOT included in the shipping costs charged by Flute World. We recommend that you contact your local customs office for more information about possible charges prior to placing an order on our website. From our experience, Express shipments via UPS and FedEx tend to have higher fees than Airmail shipments through the USPS. Please keep this in mind when choosing your shipping option.
BRAZIL CUSTOMS - For all Brazil shipments: Due to changes in Brazil's customs procedures that are resulting in significant delays in the delivery of packages. There could be a delay of up to 120 days for your package to arrive. We have no control over the time packages take to clear Brazilian customs. For this reason, we will not reship a "lost" or "late" package until after 120 days from the last package scan.
Sheet Music & Accessory Returns: Returns on sheet music and accessories are not accepted without prior authorization. Customers must contact the store to obtain return authorization. A return authorization request must specify order number, customer name, return authorization name, and reason for return. All merchandise must be returned within 10 days of receipt, undamaged and prepaid. Returns may incur a restocking charge of 10% to 25%. Credits will be issued to the credit card specified by the customer. Music supplied in error (our mistakes in filling or duplicating) are returnable. Please fill in the return slip completely to avoid restocking charges. Defective music (printing errors) will be exchanged for exact replacement upon return of the original shipment. If UPS or another carrier has damaged your shipment, please save all wrappings and contact your local carrier. YOU must file a claim with your local carrier, not Flute World. Please DO NOT send the damaged package back to us, since the claim must be made by you, the receiver. Please complete all requests for exchange or return within 10 days of the invoice date.
Recordings: Recordings cannot be returned at any time and can only be exchanged if they are defective. Please see the above policy regarding return procedures.
