Enrique Granados was a Spanish composer and pianist. His music was Spanish through and through incorporating the harmonies, textures and passion that is associated with traditional Spanish music. Many of his piano compositions have been transcribed for classical guitar and are more often performed than the originals.
This Andaluza (or Playera) is part of a set of 12 Spanish Dances written in 1890.
