Description
Andante in f minor by W.A. Mozart
Arranged for 4 C Flutes (or 2 C Flutes, Alto Flute and Bass Flute) by Ervin Monroe
Includes score and parts
“I originally arranged this Andante in f minor by Mozart for flute quartet in 1976. It is an arrangement of a movement from one of Mozart's early sonatas for violin and piano (Sonata in F Major, K13). As difficult as it may be to believe, this beautiful work was composed when Mozart was about ten years old. I rearranged it in 2003 so that it can be played by quartet or flute choir. I recommend that when playing it with large choirs that the first and second parts receive the most doubling instruments, as the third and fourth parts are reinforced by the alto and bass flutes.”
