Cinq Voyelles by Sophie Lacaze
Arranged for 4 flutes and optional narrator
Inclues score only
Duration: 7 minutes
Cinq voyelles pour quatre flutes (Five vowels for four flutes) is a transcription of Voyelles for solo flute, that Sophie Lacaze had written in 1993. Inspired by Arthur Rimbaud's poem 'Voyelles', this piece illustrates its different images and atmospheres by the music. Each vowel suggests a particular colour, a part of life remaining a variant to it. Cinq voyelles pour quatre flutes can be performed by four flautists or four flautists and a narrator.
