Description
Classical Evergreens (v.2)
Edited by Werner Richter
These famous melodies would not have become “Evergreens” if they were not — each on its own — brilliant inspirations of their respective composers. They are well suited to win young players — and not only them — for “classical” music. In this edition they are presented in a version which has been adapted to suit the flute, and with a piano accompaniment which has been kept as simple as possible. A few single cesuras in the flute part are supposed to help avoid incorrect phrasing; of course, the player may also breathe at different positions wherever this is useful. Dashed ties are to be considered as suggestions by the editors.
