Concerto, Op22 composed by Pierre-Philippe Bauzin (1933-2005)
Originally written for flute and orchestra, this edition contains a flute part and a piano reduction of the orchestral score.
Duration. 20 minutes
This composers' catalogue lists about 110 compositions which are currently being rediscovered. This particular work is based on full orchestra material with some minor changes. The first movement is an Allegro Vivace, the second is an Adagio, and the final movement is titled Final, leggiero. This is fresh and challenging work, very highly recommended.
