Description
Copland for Flute
Contains the Piano Accompaniment part to many of Aaron Copland's melodies.
Many of these solos were taken from his vocal works, and the phrasing has been carefully adjested to suit wind and string players. Since these are vocal selections, they must be played in a very lyrical and expressive manner, with special attention paid to phrasing and breathing. These solos serve as an excellent introduction to twentieth century musical style for young musicians.
