Deck the Halls
Arranged by Ricky Lombardo
Score and Parts
Part 1: Flute or Violin
Part 2: Flute, Violin, Bb Clarinet, or Viola
Part 3: Cello or Bassoon
The concept of this arrangement is new and unique to chamber ensembles. The music is written for three instruments that can be mixed and interchanged as long as each part is covered. Any combination of woodwind and/or strings can be used as available.
Deck the Halls takes on a totally different and creative style in this arrangement. After being started in the familiar cut time, the song then changes into a waltz. Although being very different in this meter, it is quite enjoyable and appealing. The ending is typically tongue and cheek.
