A French composer of the 20th century, he was a neo-classical composer, and is known primarily for his flute compostions. He was also a founding member of “Triton” along with Ferroud and Barraud, which replaced “Group des six” on the Parisian music scene between the world wars. The duo has three movements, which can be performed separately, and has a romantic trend of musical expression over exaggerated abstraction.
