Duo in G Op.17 #1
Flute Part, Bassoon uses score
Instrumentation: Flute and Bassoon
A French composer of the late 18th and early 19th century, he was also an oboist and violinist. The two movements are Allegro and Polacca, and it can be assumed that the virtuoso style of the bassoon part might have been aimed at the composer's younger brother, who was a bassoonist and professor of music. Either movement can be performed separately, and will showcase the high level of French chamber music of the early 19th century.
