Description
Fantasies #13-24 from G.P. Telemann's Twelve Fantasies
Transcribed for flute solo by Arthur J. Ephross
This volume contains only Fantasies #13-24, and not #1-12 that most flutists have in their repertoire. This set of 12 Fantasies for the violin was written around 1735, or a few years later than the well-known first set. While the first set was easily played on the baroque flute, this set covered too wide a range on violin; however, transposition has eliminated the lower notes and there is no reason not to play them on the modern flute.
