Feliz Navidad is one of the favorite Christmas pop tunes of all time that will never go out of style! This arrangement will be easy to work up and perform with little difficulty. Pay particular attention to syncopated rhythms that are used frequently. It begins with pick up notes starting on the upbeat of two. Even though not working out mathematically with the last measure, it was intentionally written this way to be stylistically appropriate. Here's a wonderful choice for your holiday concert while adding a nice Latin twist to your seasonal offerings. Feliz Navidad will be a great addition to the flute choir holiday library and repertoire!
The Expandable Form:
The concept of the expandable form gives a great deal of versatility in any flute choir situation. This arrangement works successfully using a quartet of “C” flutes on the first four parts. As instruments are added they expand harmonic support, reinforce a line of another part and/or introduce new counter melodies. The integreity of the arrangement is never compromised. It is only enhanced. The expandable flute choir arrangement has been widely embraced by flute choirs worldwide.
