Originally written for harpsichord, this is the popular name given to the final movement of the Suite n5 in E HWV430. The air is followed by variations or five doubles (variations in the English division style). The name was not given by Handel, and was not recorded until early in the 19th century, when the movement became popular on its own. This has been transposed into the key of Bb, with triplet and running sixteenth notes flowing between the parts.
