Description
Jeno Takacs (1902-2005)
The composer's love of birdsong and his reading of a book by the Hungarian ornithologist Peter Szoke (Three Spheres of Music on the Physical, the Animal and the Human Level of Existence, Budapest 1979) containing the notation of birdsongs were the inspiration for these improvisations. The composer's own creative fantasy transformed them into a contemporary work of music.
