Le Flutiste Bonne Anniversaire (“Birthday Greetings for Flute Choir”) composed by Don Stewart.
Written in 1969, this familiar tune with a set of variations was performed at a “surprise” tribute to Marcel Moyse on the occasion of his 80th birthday.
For 3 (or more) Piccolos, 4 (or more) C Flutes and Alto Flute(s). The composer recommends that at least 8 players be used, and that the alto flute part be doubled.
