This traditional Easter Hymn is a tune from the 1623 Airs sur les hymnes sacrez, odes et noels. The text is attributed to Jean Tisserand. As with many old hymns, the number of verses varies with the source..from nine to twelve in this case. Also, an optional alto flute part is provided to replace flute 3 if desired.
