The Powell 80th Anniversary flutes were made as a limited edition model for their 80th Anniversary celebration and feature the Powell pinless mechanism and an Argentium silver mechanism. Argentium is virtually tarnish and scratch resistant. It can be made nearly twice as hard as traditional sterling silver, a characteristic that improves response, tone, and mechanical stability.
