The title Reflections can have multiple meanings, the reflections on the water, of the landscape surrounding the water, reflections in a mirror, in a pane of glass and the reflections as thoughts. This piece tries to evoke all of these, from the long notes in the beginning and the distant sounding harmonics, to the playful staccatos in the rhythmic sections.
