Expandable Flute Choir: minimum of piccolo and 3 flutes; expandable by adding additional C flutes or low flutes as available.
Full scoring is Piccolo, 4 Flutes, 2 Alto Flutes, Bass Flute and Contra Bass Flute. (C flute parts are included to replace alto and bass flutes as necessary.)
This is a descriptive composition written in five movements with interconnecting sections. Each section, 'Vistas', 'Regenesis', 'Trials and Tribulations', 'Renewal', and 'The New Frontier' musically portrays events that would take place during a new millennium. The premier performance was a huge success with a flute choir of over a hundred flutists receiving a standing ovation.Performance notes by the composer are included in the score.
