Description
Suite in f minor
Flute part and Guitar score
Composer: Dieupart
Publisher: Zimmermann
Instrumentation: Flute and Guitar
Not much is known about this composer, as he was probably born approximately in the middle of the 17th century in France. He moved to England around 1700, and had a good reputation as a violinist and cembalist. Originally part of six suites for either cembalo solo or melody instrument and figured bass, the flute part uses the ornaments of the cembalo solo. The guitar part uses an unornamented melody line. The movements are Overture, Allemande, Courante, Sarabande, Gavotte, Menuet and Gigue.
