Instrumentation: Flute and Guitar
He is German composer and pianist of the 19th century. He came from a musical family, and moved to Paris in 1832, where he had his greatest success with his piano works. This piece was originally published in 1841, and was for violin and guitar. There have been changes in the guitar part than what was in the original edition. The first Nocturne is an Andantino, the second an Adagio cantabile, while the thrid is an Allegro moderato.
