Trio in D composed by Franz Anton Hoffmeister (1754-1812)
Edited by Werner Rainer for 3 flutes
Includes score and parts
A German composer and publisher, the parenthetical title for this piece is “La Gallina, il Cucco, e l'Asino” or “The Hen, the Cuckoo and the Donkey”. It is about a dispute between the three, and the individual parts represent each creature. There are three movements, and they are Allegro, Menuetto with trio and Rondo. It has part of the Terezettos that Hoffmeister wrote by 1800, and it has an opus number of X.
