Description
Trio in G
Score and Separate flute part
Composer: Bodinus
Publisher: Lienau
Instrumentation: Flute and Two Bassoons
A little known German composer of the late Baroque ear, he wrote mainly chamber music featuring various instrumentations, which was regarded as his strong point. Though this is a fairly unusual instrumentation, it is not exceptional in that this was a common musical practice at German courts of that time. Court orchestras would play chamber music with wind instruments in a wide variety of orchestrations. This trio's movements are Vivace, Siciliano and Presto allegro.
