Trio No. 6 For Woodwind Trio Op. 83
By James Hook (1746-1827)
Arranged by Harry R. Gee
For Flute, Oboe (or Flute) and Clarinet
Includes Score and Parts
The contrapuntal nature of this engaging work will require accurate subdivision of the beat in order to achieve a light, detached style that is consistent throughout the ensemble. Balance amongst the parts is also a key to success in this intermediate arrangement for flute, oboe and clarinet trio. It provides a good teaching opportunity to establish a good foundation in ensemble playing skills. A second flute may substitute for the oboe part as well.
