Tritsch-Tratsch-Polka, op214 by Johann Strauss
Originally written for orchestra
Arranged for 2 Piccolos and Piano by Bernard Boetto
Includes parts for each piccolo and a piano score
Originally written for orchestra by Johann Strauss Jr in 1858 after a successful tour of Russia. The title may be interpreted as “Chit-chat,” and may refer to the Viennese passion for gossip. The mood of the piece is jaunty and high-spirited, as were many of Strauss' polkas.
