Minuetto in F Major (K43); Andante in G Major (K48) and Andante in F Major (K73) by W.A. Mozart
Edited by Guy du Cheyron de Beaumont
For 4 C Flutes
Includes parts for Flutes 1-3; Flute 4 reads off the score
Mozart who was said to “dislike” the flute, due to a thoughtless remark he made in a letter, had given increasing preference to the flute as his musical mastery developed, and composed most wonderful parts which were excellently suited for this instrument. How else could one explain the fascinating passages in his later symphonies and piano concerts and is his operas culminating in the “Magic Flute?”
The arrangements for 4 flutes presented here are supposed to prove and underline this impression and demand.
