The Wedding Flutist
Arranged for Solo Flute by Ricky Lombardo
Flutists frequently have occasions to perform unaccompanied for weddings and other events. “What music to play” often presents a problem. “The Wedding Soloist” has been assembled and arranged to assist in selecting the appropriate music. This book includes many favorites along with some of the most requested titles for the occasion.
The solos are grouped into four different categories. The selections in each group are ony meant to be suggestions. Many are interchangeable as they do fir appropriately into more than one selection. Additionally, the book will be a valuable reference tool when suggesting and discussing music with your prospective clients. Some of the keys have been changed in a couple of the arrangements from the original to make the music feel technically more comfortable.
Although this collection is written for performing at a wedding, the book has additional uses. Several of the solos can easily be played at other types of ceremonies and/or celebrations. Teachers will find these arrangements a useful and valuable addition for lessons.
