Yuletide Trios arranged for 3 C Flutes by Ricky Lombardo
Includes conductor score and separate flute parts
This is a wonderful addition to flute choir literature. The arrangements are certain to get a lot of use during the holiday season!
Yuletide Trios is a collection of four well-known Christmas songs. The first is a medley of two, Hark! The Herald Angels Sing and Angels We Have Heard on High. It has one key change that needs to be noted. The introduction might be a little tricky for the third flute as it is very different from the first two parts. This arrangement is fun and should be fairly easy to master with little or no difficulty. O Holy Night, a carol written by Adolphe Adam, has been given a slight touch of contemporary flair in a couple of spots. This gives it a little extra spirit, which was my intention. We Three Kings of Orient Are, a carol written by John H. Hopkins, is a fairly straightforward arrangement. It should be played at a lively pace keeping a nice flow to the music.
Hark! The Herald Angels Sing & Angels We Have Heard on High (3:10)
O Holy Night (2:55)
We Three Kings of Orient Are (1:45)
