What is Flute Care?
Flute Care is an annual servicing and repair plan that allows clients to book their annual master service as well as unlimited adjustments and repairs all for one low price.
This plan is available to sign up for at the time of purchase, exclusively for instruments purchased from Flute World. Once your flute is on Flute Care, you may book an adjustment, repair or Master Service at any time using our scheduling calendar.
Flute Care auto-renews and can be paid for on a monthly or annual basis.

Why Flute Care?
Even when we receive new instruments from manufacturers, a surprising amount of work is needed to ensure it performs its best. So when clients choose an instrument from Flute World, it’s often because of the work that was done to it in our service department.
With Flute Care, we can maintain that instrument’s level of performance for our clients while saving them money.
What’s Included in a Master Service?
Cleaning
Flutes are carefully disassembled and emerged in an ultrasonic cleaner. Tubing is polished, minor scratches are removed and keys are cleaned.
Replacements
Head cork is replaced and repositioned. Springs, pads and bumpers are replaced or adjusted as needed after being carefully tested.
Adjustments
All mechanisms are cleaned, oiled and adjusted. Pads are adjusted. Key to key adjustments, lost motion and venting are calibrated to optimal conditions.
Testing
Each instrument is tested for air leaks with a Mag Machine and further playtested for optimal performance.

One Flute Care plan covers one instrument.
The price includes one master service for each year, but we encourage users to book a service anytime an adjustment or repair is needed as these services are covered.
Book a ServiceTerms and Conditions
- Instruments on Flute Care cannot be serviced elsewhere (or by yourself) while on Flute Care. Doing so may void your Flute Care.
- Flute Care is exclusive to instruments bought from Flute World. To enroll, Flute Care must be purchased at the time of the instrument purchase. Speak to a Flute Consulting Specialist for exclusions.
- Flute Care benefits are only available while the Flute Care plan is active. Unused benefits do not extend beyond expiration.
- One Master Service is included per year per subscription plan. Client is responsible for booking Master Service each year. Unused Master Services do not roll over.
- For monthly plans, instruments are eligible for a Master Service after the 11th month of the current plan year. If Flute Care is canceled prior to making your 11th monthly payment you will not be entitled to an annual Master Service.
- If you would like to cancel, please contact us at least two weeks prior to your next automatic charge and your subscription will be canceled. No refunds will be issued for any amount previously charged. Your plan will automatically renew on a monthly or annual basis unless you cancel your subscription.
