Appalachian Airs composed by Ann K. Holler
Written for two Flutes (or Violin) with Piano
Includes score and parts
Duration: 3 minutes
This work reflects the connection between the creative urge of the composer and the audience in southwest Virginia and northeast Tennessee. The strong regional heritage of Scots-Irish music provided the conceptual basis for this work. While all of the melodies are original, their style will perhaps suggest the flavor of traditional music.
