This title may be easily recognized as the theme used in the Ken Burns PBS TV documentary/mini series “The Civil War”. This haunting melody works perfectly with flutes. The arrangement is very melodic, brimming with beautiful harmonies, rhythmically easy and not difficult to master. There are two exact versions in different keys in this single publication; the first in “Bb” major and the second in “C” Major. Some of the fingering combinations on the low notes are not as difficult when using the version in “C” Major, which will make the arrangement more assessable with younger players. This surely will become one of your absolute favorites to be used over and over again. Highly recommended!
