Instrumentation:
3 Piccolos (or 3 C Flutes)
4 C Flutes
Bass Flute (or Alto Flute)
Performance Notes:
This transcription of the Ave Maria by Franz Biebl is scored for eight-part flute choir. It is most effective as a choir within a choir, the first three parts rising from the midst of the voices. The recitative sections should be solo. Flutes can double the piccolo lines, as desired.
