*There is a prominent solo for one of the flute 1's and one of the alto flutes; these solos were performed by ZAWA! in the premiere, but can be played by a member of the flute choir. 

Program note: As part of the tribute to Angeleita Floyd, the letters A-G-E-A-F-D feature prominently as motives in the piece. The title is another obvious reference to her name. 

Commissioned by ZAWA! (Claudia Anderson and Jill Felber) and a consortium of flutists. Dedicated to Angeleita Floyd upon her retirement. Celebrating 33 years as a Professor of Flute. First performed May 4th, 2019 at the University of Iowa in the “Floyd Flute Family Celebration.”
