Cordillere Andes refers to the Andes Mountain range of South America, and the pieces are arranged for a young flute and guitar duet with simple lines and rhythms.  By country, the tunes are:  Argentina–El Borrachito, Yaravi et Vidala; Bolivia–El Chihuanco, Cullahuada, A Las Orillas del Titicaca, Quiaquenita; Chile–El Chihuanco, Ojos Azules, Tonada de Navidad; Ecuador–Danzante de la Luna, Lamento Indio; Peru–Huayno del Sol, Sonkoiman.  Some pieces also offer a second guitar part to create a trio.
