Clair de Lune by Claude Debussy
Arranged for 4 C Flutes (or 3 C Flutes and Alto Flute) by Mark Thomas
Published by Southern Music Co.
Includes score and parts
This famous composition by Debussy is one of his most familiar and beautiful works. It has been transcribed and arranged for various ensembles, all adding different tonal colors to the piece. This arrangement for flute quartet utilizes the elegant voices of four flutes. It can be played by larger flute choirs merely by doubling each individual part. For added interest and color, an alto flute or bass flute can be used on the fourth par, thereby making it a quintet.
