This work is based on the first movement of W.A. Mozart's (1756-1791) Eine Kleine Nachtmusik. The legend about this composition was that Mozart was stuck on the highway between Paris and Vienna, and wrote this piece in an afternoon for a performance later that evening. It is instantly recognizable as Mozart, and is one of his most loved works.
