Festivities was written in 2018 for The Kitchen Sync trio. Celebrations, amusements, festivals, and other joyful occasions are events that enrich our lives. This work is inspired by five such delightful occasions: the merrymaking of a Carnival, the pleasant
respite of an Interlude, the boisterous play of a Romp, the pleasure of a leisurely evening Promenade, and the capriciousness of an Escapade.
