Composed by Phyllis Avidan Louke
Commissioned for the 2007 NFA convention in Albuquerque, this piece is a Spanish march or paso doble. Its flair makes it well-suited for an opening or closing piece on a program. The piccolo is prominent in a bravura countermelody and embellishments throughout.
Scored for 6 parts: piccolo, 3 C flutes, alto, and bass. (Optional C part included for alto, along with optional contrabass flute part and optional castanets/triangle part.)
