Flute Fusions introduces an opportunity for intermediate to more advanced flautists to experience a new apporach to the instrument. The compositions, to be played as either music minus one or music minus two, with the CD or live with friends, are designed to encourage students to break away from a more conventional approach and through the use of exotic percussion ensturments and different time signatures and absorb some of the complexities of unusual world rhythms.
