A children’s song for during the Jewish celebration of Chanukah. Dreidel is the Yiddeish word for a toy spinning top. It has four sides that carry the first letters of the abbreviated message: A Great Miracle Happened There. The miracle refers to the redemption of the Hebrew Temple from the desecration of the Greeks.
