Maple Leaf Rag composed by Scott Joplin
Arranged by Bill Holcombe for 3 Flutes
Includes score and parts
It is one of Joplin's earliest works for piano ragtime composition, and has a copywright date of 1899. The Maple Leaf Rag was also the first instrumental piece to sell over one million copies of sheet music. In this arrangement, the third part does portray the left hand or bass line for the piano, while the first and second parts balance each other in the melody or the right hand of the pianist.
